🍂 Hello Autumn… or perhaps Clay and Crumpets! 🍂

It was lovely to welcome familiar faces and some new ones to the woods today for our first Little Woodies session of the autumn term.

We headed off on a woodland wander to see what signs of autumn we could find, collecting natural treasures along the way to make patterns and prints in clay tiles. 🍁🌿

We finished, as always, gathered around the campfire for a story – with toasted crumpets and tasty damson jam to enjoy too. 🔥

There’s something rather special about Friday mornings at Little Woodies 🍁

Little Woodies is about giving young children the freedom to play, explore and discover the woodland at their own pace – but it’s also a warm and welcoming place for the grown-ups who come with them.

There’s time to chat, get to know other parents, grandparents and carers and enjoy being outdoors together while the children play. It’s lovely to see friendships grow between adults as well as children.

Our autumn term begins this Friday, 4 September, 10–11.30am at Charlotte’s Wood in Wilby.

Come for an individual session, book a 4-week block or join us for all 8 sessions for our lowest price per session – with a free puddle suit too.

Little Woodies is back this Friday! 🍂

After our summer break, we’re really looking forward to welcoming little woodland explorers and their grown-ups back to Charlotte’s Wood this Friday for Hello Autumn!

We’ll be heading into the woods to look for the first signs of autumn – collecting leaves, seeds and other woodland treasures, getting creative with some autumn-inspired activities and, of course, making plenty of time for playing and exploring.

We’ll finish as we always do, gathered together around the fire for a snack and story. 🌿

This autumn, Little Woodies is back every fortnight, with eight sessions taking us through the changing season all the way to Christmas in the Woods.

🍂 Book the full 8-week block for £68 – just £8.50 per session – and your child will also receive a FREE puddle suit.

You can also book a 4-week block or individual sessions, and there are discounted sibling places and funded places available. Please do use a funded place if it would help make coming to Little Woodies more manageable for your family – that’s exactly what they’re there for.
