Meon Vale Pickleball Club punched above their weight at the World's largest Indoor Pickleball Event.

The English Open Pickleball competition last week at the NEC was the largest indoor pickleball Competition in the world attracting 3400 players from 56 countries played on 62 courts.

There were many classifications from mixed doubles, men’s doubles, ladies double and singles. All at different skill levels and age groups along with a wheelchair event and a Para event. Professional players from around the world attended including the next generation players.

Meon Vale Pickleball Club was represented by ten players, delivering some great games resulting in 5 teams in the quarter Finals of which three went through to the semi finals and an individual in the singles game through to the final.

The club came away with a 2nd,3rd and 4th place. Congratulations to everyone.

This coming Tuesday 11th August sees the start of the Pickleball English Open at the NEC (on until 16th August). Now the world's largest indoor pickleball competition with almost 3,400 players from 56 countries played on 62 courts.
Meon Vale Pickleball Club will be well represented with players in the Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Good luck to all those players, enjoy the experience and have fun.
