🔥👑 COMEBACK KINGS! 👑🔥

Yet another proper hard battle with The Foxley FC today — and the Coach & Horses take the win 2-3! 🚌🐴🔵🟡

Another slow start from Coach saw Foxley hit us early and take a 2-0 lead. But as always, the lads settled down, dug deep and fought their way back. 💪

⚽ El Captain threw everything at the ball and somehow forced it over the line!

Not long after, following a bit of a bicker on the pitch 😤😂, goal machine Damo used that aggression to draw us level — making it 4 goals in 2 games! ⚽🔥

Half-time came at the perfect time, with both teams needing a chance to reset.

Second half… and the fire was back! 🔥

A few changes in personnel gave Coach a different look and we started attacking with even more purpose.

Foxley had their chances, but thankfully for our sake they couldn’t take them. We went up the other end and Fricker rattled the bar! 😱💥

Coach had their tails up…

Then came the moment!

We hit Foxley on the counter once again and SUPER SUB JT stepped up to grab the winner! ⚽🏆

Another comeback. Another battling performance.

We had a discussion in the players’ group chat, the votes were cast… and the result was unanimous! 🗳️🤣

What. A. Game. 🤯⚽️

Newcastle Athletic 6-6 Coach & Horses

WOW!! What a way to start the new season! 🔥

12 goals. A red card. Penalties. Questionable decisions. 😂

The scoreline really does reflect the game today — it was end-to-end, almost like a basketball game! 🏀😂

The pitch conditions made it difficult for both teams to get the ball down and play the football we wanted.

Newcastle went 3-1 up after Coach took an early lead.

The Teams come in 3-3 at half time with a couple of late first half goals by Damo

A penalty was then awarded after Tom Daley — sorry, Bunn 😂 — appeared to take a dive to win it. He tried it again about 10 minutes later, but the referee wasn’t fooled a second time and produced a yellow card! 🟨😂

The Coach fought back and eventually took a 5-4 lead after being awarded a penalty, with a Newcastle player also shown a red card. 🟥

Unfortunately, we settled a little too much and thought we’d done enough.

But fair play to Newcastle Athletic — they kept coming, kept knocking on the door and eventually got their rewards.

After a game that perhaps wasn’t filled with the finesse and flowing football both sides would have liked, it was a hard-grafted point for both teams. 🤝

Coach & Horses 2-1 Winners! 🔵🟡

That’s the pre-season wrapped up with a win! 💪

Hard work in this heat today, and the pitch was like concrete, but the lads grafted from start to finish. 👏

On another day, it could easily have been 5 or 6 if we’d taken our chances, but the important thing is we got the win and another good run-out under our belts.

Now the real stuff begins…💪🏻
