⚽🎉 THE WAIT IS OVER... SJFL IS BACK TOMORROW! 🎉⚽

After weeks of pre-season training, hundreds of cones mysteriously disappearing, parents spending a small fortune on boots that will be too small by Christmas, we're finally ready for the new season! 😅

Tomorrow marks the return of:

⚽ Last-minute boot lace emergencies
⚽ Referees somehow being blamed for everything
⚽ Coaches shouting "Spread out!" at least 97 times per game
⚽ Players asking "Are we winning?" after 30 seconds

Most importantly, tomorrow is about the children making memories, learning new skills, making friends and enjoying the game we all love.

Let's remember what grassroots football is really about:

✅ Enjoyment before results
✅ Development before trophies
✅ Respect for teammates, coaches and referees
✅ Supporting every child regardless of the score

Some teams will win. Some teams will lose. Some parents will be convinced their child is the next Ronaldo, Messi or Bronze after one good touch.

But long after the score is forgotten, the memories, friendships and experiences will remain.
So whether you're a player, coach, volunteer, referee or parent...
👏 Respect the game
😊 Encourage every player
⚽ Enjoy every minute

Good luck to every SJFL team starting their season tomorrow.

We have gone past 2,000 registered players this week.

A fantastic achievement considering there was very few playing in a Staffordshire based league on a Saturday five years ago.

Want to come and join this ever growing league?

Development age groups can enter the league at any time during the season.
