✨ MEET MISS ABBIE! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Miss Abbie to the RJL teaching team! 💫

Abbie is a graduate of Addict Dance Academy, where she gained her BA (Hons) degree in Dance Performance. Since graduating, she has gained experience teaching in both dance schools and primary schools, as well as creating and running her own dance workshops.

Abbie brings a fresh, creative and energetic approach to her teaching and loves creating classes where dancers can build confidence, develop their individual style and, most importantly, really enjoy dancing!

We’re really excited for Abbie to bring her energy, creativity and fresh choreography to RJL and can’t wait for our students to get into the studio with her!

✨ MEET MISS GEMMA! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome former RJL student Miss Gemma back to the school — this time as part of our teaching team! 💫

After leaving RJL, Gemma continued her training at Centre Pointe in Manchester before moving to London to study at Laine Theatre Arts. She went on to achieve a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre and has spent the past two years performing professionally at Disneyland Paris. ✨🏰

Throughout 2026, Gemma has also been teaching at dance and theatre schools across the UK and has recently completed her final exams towards qualifying as an ISTD dance teacher.

Gemma is really looking forward to returning to where her own dance journey began and bringing her professional performance experience, energy and passion into the studio. She can’t wait to inspire our students, build their confidence and help them develop both their technique and performance skills.

We’re delighted to welcome Miss Gemma back to the RJL family and can’t wait for our students to work with her! ❤️

✨COMMERCIAL, CONTEMPORARY, MUSICAL THEATRE✨

September brings exciting changes, and especially big changes to our Friday classes with Miss Holly. Spaces are filling up fast so don't leave it too late to sign up for a trial now🌟

💃🏻Commercial dance combines elements of hip-hop, jazz, and street dance, with energy and attitude, to current music and choreography.
💃🏻Contemporary dance is perfect for expressive freedom, and raw movement, combining lyrical, ballet, and jazz to creative and inspiring pieces and storytelling.
💃🏻Musical Theatre consists of 3 elements; Singing, Acting, and Dancing. Creating exciting pieces from Musicals with a range of styles and skills.

Over the Summer holidays... Grace, Anna, and Lily attended Miss Holly's Summer Intensive! Hard work always pays off and it is incredible to be attending classes during the holidays as well as helping with versatility as a dancer😍

Well done to these 3, alongside other students who have continued their training. Grace also attended the Northern Ballet School intensive week, and Elise went to the intensive at Jelli Studios.👏🏼
