2nd of the Stirling Running WWRF route recces this weekend.
Get involved!
If you are planning your running schedule for the week ahead then we have two opportunities over the next 7 days to add us to your running miles.
Firstly on Friday our regular 'Stirling Running Group' evening run will take place at 18:20 from Stirling High School. A chatty 4 miles and a great way to ease into the weekend.
Then on Sunday we will host our 2nd route recce of the William Wallace Running Festival 50K and 70K routes. We will once again start and finish at Stirling High School, this time at 08:50 and our running journey will take us towards Battle of Bannockburn site, North Third, Cambusbarron and back to Stirling High School. Approximately 12.5 miles / 20km.
Please note: as well as running part of the 50K route we will also cover the North Third higher level route which is part of the 70K route. This will involve slightly trickier trail running and some elevation - a good test for race day but we will run and walk at a comfortable pace. Even if you are not taking part in the William Wallace races you can still join us on our run. All welcome.
Full details of this run and how to join can be found at www.stirlingrunning.co.uk/wwrf
