Fieldhouse Bowling Club Stafford

Many congratulations to Roy & Issy Aspinall and Jan Dick on winning the Derek Bunting Drawn Partner Triples Competition on Sunday 30th August and to the gallant runners up Harvey Montgomery, Brian Smith & John Basaggio.
A fun competition played in pleasant weather conditions and in the process raising £110 to go towards The Royal British Legion Poppy appeal.
As you may be aware Derek Bunting was a senior member in the organisation so it was fitting to honour him in this way.
Jan Bunting presented the Trophies and accepted the money we raised on behalf of the RBL.

Congratulations to Andy Holt on winning the Charlie Goodchild Trophy on Sunday 26th July and to the Runner up Brian Smith.
Many thanks to all that entered and made it an enjoyable day in very pleasant weather conditions than we have had to endure of late.

Congratulations To Wayne Bassegio & John Bartlett for winning today's American Pairs and to the Runners up Pauline Bird & Fred Randle.
Much respect to everybody that entered and all that assisted with the marking and measuring.
Finally thanks to all that contributed to the fantastic dinner time buffet.
A great day out in more pleasant conditions than we've had of late.

Congratulations to Gail Lowe & Brian Smith for winning The Ros Barton Rose Bowl and to the gallant runners up Isobel Aspinall & Steve Barton on Sunday 24th May played in very hot conditions. Well done to all that took part.

Competitions are an important part of the Club Calender, a chance to socialise among club members. We are starting off with the Annual Ladies Ros Barton Rose Bowl.
