🚨PLAYER OF THE MONTH🚨

Just like that we are over the first month of fixtures, leading to the lads voting for their August, player of the month.

Scoring three goals and bagging two player of the matches, he’s definitely been a favourite in the changing rooms.

“Player of the month for Lenny is very well deserved. When we first took Lenny in we knew he needed to work on his fitness and match sharpness over the course of a few months but with injuries and a few missing for the start of the season he’s been chucked in at the deep end.

Eccleshall Res 5-1 Madeley White Star

The lads were asked for a reaction, a reaction was what the manager got.

A bit of a dodgy start, which led to Madeley opening up the scoresheet, however Eccleshall very quickly responded and Lenny with his two different boots, netted Eccleshall level going into halftime.

The final 45 was where the game really excelled. Lenny grabs himself his second of the game shortly followed by Mikey Dempsey, with chances flying in from other players, Eccleshall were awarded a penalty, despite the initial shot getting saved, Mikey Dempsey bags his second on the rebound. To finish the game off nicely, Matt Marshall came off the bench and added a fifth.

A top way to respond to a tough few weeks, we move to Wednesday.
