“Friday night is judo night”
In the junior session we continued learning and practicing our techniques for our next grade. A few will be grading on the 26th September whilst others are learning ready for the December grading.
Well done lots of effort.
The senior class whilst not grading this time were studying some throws from the green belt syllabus. Some very technical throws were timing is a key skill.

Unusually quiet night tonight. The juniors worked hard on syllabus techniques whilst the senior session did a variety of technical work and lots of Randori. Great to see Erin from Keswick Judo Club on the tatami.

Fantastic sessions, good number tonight especially considering it’s bank holiday weekend.
Super senior session with club visit from Keswick JC.
Great to practice on the new extended mats.
Dojo renovation almost finished.

Summer holiday season and the class numbers reflect people are having a great relaxing time. Judo is still on during the break to allow everyone to practice judo when they are back from their holidays.
Friday was the first class of August, July’s Judoka of the month is Isla for her continue d hard work, dedication and turning up every week.
Well done Isla.

Congratulations to Lucas and Logan competing in the Chester Festival of Judo. Hosted by Chester Judo Club, thank you.
Super pleased with the boys efforts, they competed well, abided by the judo code and represented themselves, their families, the club and the Scout Cubs Wolfie impeccably.
They did some very nice judo too!
A fantastic effort for a new experience for both of them. Lots of positives to build on.
