HOW WILL I DRIVE DEVELOPMENT 🪜

Development for me means BOTH personal 👤 and club 📑. For personal, it’s all about identifying and applying the skills you gain as a student athlete and/committee member to life outside of St Andrews. For club, really focusing the handover period to ensure clubs can have sustainable growth that is passed from committee to committee.

Why do I want to make sport more accessible for everyone? Well, just look what sport can create… 💙
•
I’ve coached in 3 countries, competed in 5. I’ve watched my team grow into the most successful basketball squad St Andrews has ever seen. I’ve sat on inclusion panels, disability panels, education panels with SportScotland and had my opinion listened to. I’ve worked with the Minister of Sport to affect change and increase participation. I’ve had my own life changed through sport, and watched on as it happened to others. I want all this, and more, to be available to everyone!

LET’S TALK ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY 🔄

Everyone should have access to the fantastic world of sport, and so here are some ways I will remove barriers for students:

4️⃣ Gym Access 🏋🏼‍♀️

Again, these are concrete ideas I have in place to make change! Voting for me means voting for established plans and progress to support YOU!

Find out what TRANSPARENCY🔍 means for me! I have thought out actions and plans that I will put in place to make transparency happen. It’s not something I want to just hope will improve, I have planned steps to help it happen! 📈
