🏏🌍 Shedfield Sixers Take on the Women’s Cricket World Cup! 🌍🏏

7 of our ladies had a once in a lifetime opportunity to be flag bearers at the ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup on Tuesday at the Hampshire Bowl ✨

To be part of such a huge international event, represent the game we all love and experience the atmosphere on the world stage is something they will never forget 🤩

Not only did they proudly carry the flags out onto the field, but they also got their moment on the big screen too 📺⭐

The girls had an amazing day, made unforgettable memories and were fantastic ambassadors for the Shedfield Sixers 💕

💖 The Sixers are doing what the Sixers do best… playing cricket and having fun! 💖

It’s been a busy few weeks with lots of cricket, plenty of smiles and some fantastic performances along the way 🏏✨

Most importantly, the ladies are having an absolute blast, supporting each other, welcoming new players and enjoying every moment out on the pitch 🥰

💖 Another fantastic weekend for the Sixers! 💖

Our Tier 1 side kicked things off on Friday with a thrilling victory over our neighbours, Bishops Waltham, winning by just 7 runs in a brilliant, closely contested match 🏏💪

They followed that up on Sunday with their best performance of the season, beating South Wi******er by a huge 91 runs! 🌟 Every pair contributed at least 40 runs from their 4 overs, making it a true team performance and a fantastic display from the ladies 💖

Meanwhile, our Tier 3 ladies had a fantastic day at the Fair Oak Festival yesterday 🙌 The team continues to improve every week, and it was great to have some of our newer players out on the pitch, gaining valuable experience and confidence. Seeing the progress being made across the group is brilliant, and everyone represented the Sixers amazingly. A huge thank you to the three Porchester ladies who joined us and helped make the day such a success 🥰

Our Tier 1 side were involved in a closely fought game against Easton & Martyr Worthy, narrowly missing out in the end 🏏

Meanwhile, our Tier 3 ladies enjoyed their first-ever Grand Series Festival at Hursley Park 🙌 It was fantastic to see so many ladies involved and great to have our amazing supporters with us too 💜

💖 What a week it’s been for the Shedfield Sixers! 💖

This week saw 20 different players represent the Sixers across our very first Tier 3 league match and today’s festival at Bishops Waltham Cricket Club 🙌

From competitive cricket to festival fun, it’s been amazing to see so many ladies getting involved, supporting each other and enjoying the game together 🏏

We’re so glad the rain stayed away and allowed another brilliant couple days of cricket to go ahead ☀️☔️

A huge well done to everyone who has played, supported and helped make this such a special week for the Sixers 💥

💖 What a day for the Shedfield Sixers at Utilita Bowl! 💖

Today marked a huge moment in our journey as we played our first ever match in club history at the one and only Utilita Bowl 🙌

We had 15 of our ladies involved across the morning, all proudly wearing our brand new kit and what a brilliant way to bring it out for the first time! 🤩

It was a fantastic, fun-filled festival with plenty of smiles, support and cricket being enjoyed by all 💗

We’re already looking forward to our first league matches this week, as well as more festivals to come as the Shedfield Sixers journey continues 💥
