The meaning - or lack of meaning - of "antistatic"!
What Does “Antistatic Material” Actually Mean?
We sat down with ESD Expert Toni Viheriäkoski, Cascade Metrology, and Pasi Seppälä, Premix, who share their insights into terminology, performance, and the differences between temporary antistatic additives and permanent static control materials.

I was pleased to collaborate with Toni Viheriakoski and our co-workers on theis paper on "Investigating the human sensory threshold for electrostatic discharge using current waveform measurements", available for download for a short time here:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0304388625001640?dgcid=coauthor
The study gave useful real data on the threshold of feeling and hearing electrostatic discharges in terms of energy, current, body voltage and other factors.
