🎉⚾ Congratulations to New Forest Thunder!
New Forest Thunder are the South West & Wales Baseball League Division 5 Champions, following a thrilling 20–15 victory over Plymouth Mariners in Bristol.

After going 5–0 down early on, Thunder fought back brilliantly, eventually levelling the game at 15–15 before a fantastic final push saw them score five unanswered runs to secure the title.

Everyone at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, the proud home of New Forest Thunder, would like to congratulate the whole team, coaches and supporters on this fantastic success.

With six consecutive wins, a championship title and now a place in the British Baseball Federation national play-off quarter-final they are having an amazing season.

One fantastic game of baseball later, the New Forest Thunder are your South West & Wales Baseball League Division 5 Champions!

The team headed to Bristol today to face Plymouth Mariners Baseball Club in the D5 final. It was an exciting game, with the lead changing between the two teams, until Thunder took the game 20-15.

After the game the team were presented with the Severn Division Title as well as the SWWBL D5 Trophy.

We are so proud of all the players involved in the Thunder this season, and especially manager Doug and assistant Mitch.

Next stop; British Baseball Federation (BBF) National Playoff Quarter Finals!

The New Forest Knights continued their late-season surge on Sunday, sweeping the Taunton Pistols to record a fourth consecutive victory and move above .500 for the first time this season ⚾
