Fairies, fantastic consumer reviews might just have a comeback

Good morning, beautiful souls. 💜✨

After a day of battling online with someone whose values don’t align with mine

I’m choosing to return to who I truly am
Love
Light
Hope
Compassion
Acceptance

It’s easy to get pulled into conflict, especially online!

But that’s not where I want to live.

My energy is better spent building people up, not tearing them down.

Listening with compassion not judgment
Setting a boundary and removing myself
Refocusing my thoughts and centring self

Every time I choose..

Honesty over people-pleasing
Courage over fear
Self respect over old patterns

I remove another layer of the mask I worn for so long.

That mask may have protected me once, but it no longer defines me.

Growth isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about letting go of who I had to be to survive and embracing who I was always meant to be.

Today!

I’m choosing peace.
I’m choosing authenticity.
I’m choosing love.
I’m choosing ME

Morning kisses to you all. 💜✨

Three years ago, .i.c wasn’t an organisation.

It wasn’t a charity.
It wasn’t a movement.
It was simply me and a group of recovering humans lacing up our boots, heading into the hills, and supporting one another one step at a time.

We started with a shared belief that healing happens in connection with nature, with others, and with ourselves.

Today, HIKE2HEAL RECOVERY is reaching more people than I ever imagined possible.

I am incredibly proud and deeply grateful to share that we have been awarded Community Funding Awards for All to support our work.

This funding is a huge milestone for HIKE2HEAL RECOVERY. It represents recognition of the hard work, determination, and passion that has gone into building this community from the ground up.

What began as a small group of people walking together has grown into a powerful movement of hope, healing, and belonging for people recovering from addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

This award will allow us to reach even more people, provide more opportunities for connection and recovery, and continue changing lives through the healing power of nature and community.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, donor, and participant who has believed in this vision and helped make it possible.

This recognition belongs to all of us.

And this is only the beginning.

With gratitude Hike2Heal Recovery and ME! 🙋‍♀️

There’s something quietly powerful about a neighbourhood that feels alive.

Kids still in their pyjamas, barefoot on warm pavement, sticky hands from slices of watermelon, laughter echoing down the street as the sun lingers a little longer.

No rush
No pressure
Just presence.

In a world that’s become so fast and disconnected, these small moments remind us what really matters.

Not perfection
Not status…
but belonging.
Safety.
Familiar faces.

The feeling that someone would notice if you weren’t there.

Community isn’t built in big, dramatic gestures.

It’s in the everyday shared smiles, open doors, kids playing together until the streetlights come on.

Maybe that’s the real wealth in life… not what we have, but who we have around us.

No matter how old he gets, I’ll always be his safe place 💙

The world can be loud and overwhelming, but right here…
this is home…

A place where he can rest, feel held, and just be himself without needing to say a word.

Watching him grow is the greatest gift, but moments like this remind me that no matter how big he gets, he’ll always come back to this…

and I’ll always be here waiting with open arms.

My boy. My heart. Always 💙
