We love this idea, and we help to sponsor a tree just a few doors down from us. We have made sure that it was watered over the heatwave, and very pleased that it’s doing very well.

Our new tree sponsorship scheme gives residents, community groups and businesses the chance to fund ‘instant impact’ trees in a local street, park or green space.

Your sponsored tree can help support biodiversity, improve air quality, provide shade and cooling, and make our neighbourhoods greener and healthier for everyone.

With more than 150 community-sponsored trees already planted in Worthing in just three years, we're now bringing the planting scheme in-house and extending it across Lancing, Sompting, Shoreham, Southwick and Fishersgate for the first time.

Whether it’s to celebrate a special occasion, remember someone or simply give something back to your local environment, sponsoring a tree is a meaningful way to grow a greener future. Trees sponsored over the coming weeks will be planted this winter.
