Massive congratulations to everyone who stepped on the mat and graded last night at South Yorkshire Judo Academy 👏🥋

A huge milestone for us as a club; this was our very first grading, and for every single member involved, their first grading too. A special moment all round.

Gradings are never easy; they take courage, focus, and a willingness to put yourself out there and be tested. Every one of you showed exactly what we stand for at DNA Judo; effort, resilience, and a commitment to improving.

It was brilliant to see the progress across the group; everyone taking that first step on their judo journey and setting the standard for what this academy will become.

A special mention to the attitude shown throughout; supporting each other, staying disciplined, and giving your best right until the end. That’s what it’s all about.

Consistency builds confidence. Progress comes from turning up week after week; and that doesn’t stop at half term.

🥋 OPEN DAY TODAY AT GREENGATE LANE ACADEMY 🥋

We are genuinely excited to be delivering a FREE Judo Open Day today at our partner school Greengate Lane Academy.

Danny and Cian are on the mat today giving pupils a real insight into what judo is all about; fun, confidence-building and inclusive sessions that show how judo helps young people develop physically, mentally and socially.

This is not just a taster; it is a proper introduction to judo and the values we deliver every week at South Yorkshire Judo Academy.
