Yesterday, Isaac showcased just how much he has developed as a goalkeeper! 👏

We were particularly impressed with his communication — using his voice confidently, playing the ball quickly and calmly, and most importantly, talking to his teammates and making sure players were picked up and marked when needed.

These little things make a huge difference to a goalkeeper and show how much Isaac is growing in confidence and understanding of the game. 💪🧤

Two goals to his name, but it was his work rate, determination and desire to win the ball that really stood out to us. He never stopped chasing, battling and putting pressure on the opposition, constantly working for his teammates. 💪

What a player! 🖤 A huge heart, bags of talent and an attitude that’s brilliant to see. Seb didn’t stop running, working and listening throughout the session — giving everything from start to finish. 👏⚽️

And this week… we simply couldn’t pick one! 😂

The session was immense from all the lads. We was missing a few due to holidays but Every player showed their ability, worked hard and really pushed themselves.

As coaches, seeing that level of effort and development makes us incredibly proud. 🥹👏

Before the game, I asked Isaac for two key things today: distribution and hearing his voice!

Wow… did he deliver! 👏🔥

Isaac was so dominant with his saves, incredibly confident with his kicking, and his communication from the back was absolutely brilliant. His voice was powerful all game and he really took command of his area. 🗣️💪

Beighton Magpies U8 Yellows are delighted to confirm that Manager Harry, alongside coaches Danny and James, have all committed their futures to the club by signing on for another season. ✍️

Following a fantastic year of development, memorable moments, and some exciting additions to the playing squad, the coaching team are looking forward to building on last season’s success and taking the team to even greater heights.

The negotiations haven’t been easy, with the club working tirelessly behind the scenes to get the deals over the line. Thankfully, after plenty of discussions (and one or two pints), all three have put pen to paper and remain part of The Family Club.

With the management team secured and preparations for the new season well underway, the future is looking bright for the Yellows.
