Fifteen minutes ago, these faces looked very different.
Little weights that secretly weigh 50kg, tiny pulses that destroy your soul, and a squishy ball that Gwenny has somehow weaponised into an instrument of torture.
Then the gong, shavasana with a cold lavender towel, and the Friday post-Barre high hits.
Worth it? Absolutely.

Eight angle pose. The one that’s been quietly ruining everyone’s Tuesdays.
Hanna makes it look like a decision. For most of us it’s been closer to a negotiation, and the pose has been winning.
New sequences land Monday 7th September. Which means you’ve got a fortnight left with this one.
Has anyone actually got it yet?

You don't need to know any of this to come to a class. But it does explain why Reformer feels harder than it looks.
Most training only really loads you in one direction. Up, out, push. The return journey is gravity's problem, and gravity is very generous.
A spring isn't. It's pulling the entire time, so the way back is as much work as the way out. No coasting, no bottom of the rep where you get a breather.
It's also why beginners who think they're taking it easy find they very much were not.
Chair test, be honest. Lower, or arrive?
