Henry’s FC 4–2 Crosby United

Sunday ends in defeat for the first team.
The game started really sloppily, with Crosby going 2–0 down despite playing some good football.

We got ourselves back into the game through a long-range shot from Bobby Swettenham, which the goalkeeper unfortunately fumbled into the net.

Going into the second half, we managed to get back on level terms thanks to Rodrigo, who marked his debut for the club with a well-taken goal.

Crosby started to get on top of the game, looking the better side and creating chances to take the lead. Unfortunately, we scored an own goal, allowing Henry’s to regain the lead.
Despite all our efforts to get back into the game, Henry’s made it 4–2 with an unstoppable free kick that we couldn’t do much about.

We wish Henry’s all the best for the season, and we go again!

Another win for the lads today as Crosby United came out on top in a proper battling game against Burton Rovers! 💪

Two well-earned goals and a solid shift from everyone on the pitch. It wasn't always pretty, but nobody said Sunday league football was supposed to be!

Well that was a nice little Sunday morning 😂☀️⚽

A massive 9-2 win for the lads this morning, with goals flying in from all angles… including two from their own players, who clearly fancied getting involved 😂🤝

Adam Hare-Potter got us up and running, before their defence decided we were struggling to score enough and chipped in with two own goals 😂👏 Fair play lads, same again next time?

Then Lewis Wright decided it was his turn to have a kick about, banging in three and securing himself the match ball. ⚽⚽⚽

Chris Rodgers got himself on the scoresheet, Ollie Gower popped up with one, and Josh Housam rounded things off with the ninth.

FULL TIME | CROSBY UNITED FC 4–2 FRIENDSHIP RESERVES 🟢⚽

A 4–2 win for the lads today, but definitely not our best performance.

Lewis Wright grabbed two proper goalscorer's goals, finishing both chances like a striker should. ⚽⚽

Ben Jackson produced the moment of the game with an absolute 35-yard screamer, catching the keeper out and lobbing him from distance! 🚀

Josh Davis scoring with a well-placed low free kick that found the back of the net. 🎯

We made things harder for ourselves towards the end, with heavy legs starting to show and us becoming architects of our own downfall as we conceded twice.

But the main thing is minutes in the legs and another win in the bag. Plenty to work on, but we'll take the result and go again. 🟢⚫️

Our match againt Af Brumby Hall as been called off due to them not been able to get a team out so we are looking for a new opponent to play this Sunday.

Ref and pitch is sorted . If any teams would like a game give us a message on the page or Will Cunningham, Nicky Fletcher or Steven Moore.
