100 person package plant from Environmental Wastewater Solutions installed recently at a Golf Club near Puckeridge. After 35 years the old unit had unfortunately given up, we assisted in obtaining an Environment Agency discharge permit then managed to install this unit in a suitable location to be able to construct a new outlet with sample chamber, control panel and motor gearbox enclosure whilst ensuring the golf club remained fully operational. A few Borehole pump and rising main replacements carried out this year, we have a range of lifting equipment from tripod frames to a 36 ton/metre lorry loader with hoist and winch capabilities of up to 3 ton to cater for various situations. We operate a 247 365 call out service for all private water supply customers, new and existing, domestic and commercial. We also operate a contract maintenance service for periodic planned maintenance work including filter replacements, UV replacements, gauges, pipework and electrical Inspections.

Very busy 2025 so far for our water supply engineers, multiple repairs, new valve installs and fire Hydrant installs carried out and reinstated. We stock a vast array of fittings ranging from 15mm to 350mm for all different pipe materials, allowing us to react very quickly to emergency situations. We also have a selection of fully equipped utility vans on the road with on board 240/110v power, compressors, cutting equipment and electrofusion welders.

Concrete Tank base constructed for a regular client in Hatfield, great work again from the team!

Leak repair carried out on a 10 inch fire main in Stevenage, ageing fl**ge adaptor joint had deteriorated, causing a significant pressure drop in the ring main. Using our specialist cutting equipment we cut and broke out the concrete, cut out the defective section of pipe and installed a new section of 10 inch ductile pipe with associated repair couplings and gasket and bolt sets.

Great work from our team in Stevenage, carrying out the groundworks to relocate a modular building on behalf of a very good client of ours. Cut and fill carried out to create formation level, concrete pads, storm and foul drainage including installation of foul pumping station. Mains water connection, underground ducting and finishing hard and soft landscaping works all carried out by ourselves.

Lovely resin top patio and side footpath constructed for a valued customer of ours. Full credit to the team on this one, access wasn't ideal and there was some hot days to contend with but they got it done and the finish is fantastic.

Klargester sewage treatment plant installation recently carried out in St Albans. Difficult ground conditions requiring shoring and overpumping and access was challenging but we got it over the line as usual. 750mm invert biodisc with full concrete surround and anchored to 200mm concrete bed. 50mm mdpe pump main to a sample chamber before gravity discharge to a surface water course.

We are a family run civil engineering company based in Sawbridgeworth, currently seeking a trainee groundwork labourer.

Must have a full UK driving licence, enthusiastic, reliable and able bodied. Must be willing to learn the job and progress.

Ability to work in a team is essential as work will involve working in gangs of 2/3 up to 9/10 depending on Project requirement.

Salary is negotiable depending on any experience or current skill set that maybe beneficial to the role. Qualifications such as CSCS, CPCS, EUSR cards are desirable but not essential as training is provided, but character and mentality is first and foremost.
