First National competition of the season and a cheeky little win!
Long six hours in the heat, with many miles covered. Fish on the day quite scarce (probably due to the heat).
Dodgy start with the good viz catching me out , with fish being slightly out of range. Also losing a big Bass was tough to take at the time!
Luckily the 7 fish on the day was enough.
BSA Dorset putting on a cracking event as usual, and even the weather gods delivered!

1.5mm enables you to get more on the reel, meaning you can use a smaller reel which minimises drag.
