These young Scorplings have come a long way this season. Not only have they grown in confidence and ability, but the squad has also grown in numbers. Throughout the year they've developed their flag football skills, built resilience, and learned the value of working together as a team. Now they have the opportunity to showcase just how far they've come.

U14 Black
After a season built on improving both team wellbeing and football skills, this group has enjoyed a fantastic second year at U14 level. Their commitment, resilience, and teamwork have seen them continue to improve every week, earning a deserved place in the Regional Semi Finals. They're ready to embrace the challenge and compete against the best of North and Scotland.

🌹 Rose Bowl 2026 🌹

What an incredible weekend of flag football for a group of our U14 boys and girls at the Rose Bowl 2026!

A massive thank you and huge credit to Marcel and his team for hosting such an amazing event. The organisation, atmosphere, and opportunity for the players to compete against some fantastic teams made it a weekend to remember.

Our U14s played some outstanding flag football throughout the tournament, showing great athleticism, teamwork, determination, and football IQ in every game. Every player represented the club with pride, supported one another, and gave everything on the field.

Beyond the football, the weekend was all about bringing the team together. The players had the chance to build stronger friendships, make lasting memories, and grow as teammates both on and off the field. Experiences like these are what youth sport is all about.

This Saturday, a mix of players from three of our teams will be travelling to Wellingborough to compete in our very first Rose Bowl event.

Hosted by the , we're looking forward to a full day of flag football, meeting new teams and plenty of sunshine.

It's a fantastic opportunity for our players to come together, represent the club, and take on some great teams.

🇬🇧 U17 Travelling Squad 🇬🇧

We are incredibly proud to announce our very first Salford Scorpion selected to be part of the GB travelling squad - Mia

From first learning flag football in high school to becoming Defensive Player of the Year and earning a place in the Salford Scorpions Team of the Season in 2025, Mia’s journey has been built on hard work, dedication, and commitment.
The hours put in at training, and the extra work put in long after sessions have finished, have all led to this incredible moment. Her drive to keep improving every single day is what sets her apart and has helped her reach this level.

Mia has become a huge inspiration to our younger cadets and girls in the programme, showing them exactly what can be achieved through belief, discipline, and relentless hard work. She’s proof that trusting the process and putting in the extra effort can open doors to incredible opportunities.

Congratulations, Mia! Your Scorpions family couldn’t be prouder and we’ll be behind you every step of the way as you represent on the biggest stage.

U11
A strong finish to the season, securing their place in the Regional Semi Finals. This group has shown great hard work, teamwork, and determination all season long, continuing to improve week by week. The effort and commitment from every player has been outstanding, and now the focus shifts to the next challenge.

U14 Pink
After a season of hard work and determination, they finally secured their first win — something they thoroughly deserved. This squad has battled all season, showing resilience, commitment, and a never-give-up attitude every step of the way. A massive moment for the team and a reward for all the effort they’ve put in.

U14 Black
With our smallest squad to date, they were able to secure a place in the Regional Semi Finals. This team has been incredible to watch grow throughout the season, improving game by game and showing real character in every performance. Their hard work, trust in each other, and dedication continue to set the standard as they push into the next stage.

A huge appreciation to all the teams we faced and to the referees who officiated our games — your part in making Game Days competitive and enjoyable doesn’t go unnoticed.

A huge congratulations to our Scorpions Black on becoming U14 North Champions! An outstanding achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and teamwork shown throughout the season. Every training session, every game, and every challenge has helped shape this success - and it’s thoroughly deserved.

A big thank you to every player who has played a part this season. Whether you’ve been there from day one or stepped up when called upon, every contribution has mattered and helped the team reach this point.

A special mention to Coach Adam and Si for the time, energy, and dedication they’ve given to the team all season. Your guidance, support, and belief in the players have been key to their development and this incredible achievement.
