What an incredible day! ⚽️💜 Huge thanks to everyone who played, donated, supported, and came along to make our charity football match such a success. Amazing football, great entertainment, and even better people—all for a great cause. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

I just want to say a thank you specifically to Matty Williams and Gary Harper, for getting both football teams together and everything else that comes with it 😂 and also Mike Dean for all the amazing pictures he took throughout the football and last but not least to the sidac itself for supplying the pies and the amazing saxophonist 🫶

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a cherished member of our committee and a dear, long-time friend.

For many years, Ted stood beside us with quiet strength, generosity and an unwavering commitment to our shared work. His contribution went far beyond meetings and responsibilities.

He brought warmth, kindness and a genuine care for people that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, the space he filled cannot be replaced.

To many of us, Ted was not just a colleague, but a friend — someone who listened, encouraged and showed up without hesitation (always with a brew in hand). His laughter, wisdom and compassion will remain with us long after his passing.

We are profoundly grateful for the time we shared and the countless ways Ted shaped our committee and our lives. His legacy lives on in our memories, in the work he helped build, and in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences are with Ted’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. He will be missed more than words can express, and remembered always.
