After weeks of pre-season, training, and plenty of talk, it’s finally time to get down to business.

The first game of the season is here, and the lads are ready to go. New season, and plenty to prove. Every tackle, every run, every goal — it all starts this Sunday!

Let’s set the tone for the season and start with three points.

FC Kimberworth Park 1–4 RU4C ⚽️

A tough afternoon for FC Kimberworth Park as we suffered a 4–1 defeat against Rotherham United 4 Communities in today’s friendly at The Pewter Pot.

The lads gave everything and battled hard throughout, but unfortunately we couldn’t get the result we were looking for.

We regroup again next week for our first league game of the 26/27 season against The Lounge Ryecroft FC ⚽️⚽️

Tonight we faced Wickersley fc ⚽️
The boys put in a good game but unfortunately didn’t get the outcome they wanted. We go again on Sunday for our last game of pre season ⚽️💗

Just want to say a massive thank you to Carol Kups and her husband for paying for the water bottles for the lads. They all really appreciate your love and support 💗

FC Kimberworth Park are set to take on Wickersley ths FC in what promises to be an exciting and competitive fixture. ⚽️

Both sides will be looking to put in a strong performance and come away with the result, making for a great contest from the first whistle. ⚽️⚽️

With the big decisions, the team talks and the tactics all falling on his shoulders, Dave is the man tasked with getting the best out of the squad and keeping everyone moving in the right direction. 📋💪

Whether it’s picking the starting XI, making the big substitutions or keeping the lads grounded, the Gaffer is ready for whatever comes his way.

Meet Joe May aka Ginge #4 ⚽

Introducing Joe May aka Ginge, our number 4, holding things down at centre half.

Joe’s favourite playing moment is one he won’t forget — his first-ever game of adult football for Rotherham Spartans against Mildam. In a tight 3–2 win, Ginge put in a performance good enough to earn Man of the Match. A pretty good way to announce yourself! 👏🏆

When it comes to his favourite footballing moment witnessed, Joe went straight for his first Blades away day — a 2–2 draw against Norwich, with Billy Sharp grabbing both goals and the unforgettable Mr Socko celebration ⚔️

Meet Dani Swift aka Swifty #7 ⚽

Introducing Dani Swift aka Swifty, our number 7, causing problems down the right wing.

Danny’s favourite playing moment is one that’s close to the heart — the first time his daughter came to watch him play, hearing her cheering him on from the sideline before getting to lift the trophy together. A proper footballing memory to treasure. ❤️🏆

When it comes to the best footballing moment he’s witnessed, Danny went straight for Revell’s goal at Wembley — followed, of course, by the piss-up afterwards! 🍻🤣

Meet Tyrell Williams aka Ty #14 ⚽

Introducing Tyrell Williams aka Ty , our number 14, pulling the strings from central attacking midfield.

Tyrell’s favourite playing moment came at the old girl, Millmoor, where he got to celebrate a win alongside some of his favourite people. A special day made even better by sharing it with the people who matter most. 🏆❤️

But when it comes to his best moment on the pitch, there’s no competition! Tyrell picked scoring from the halfway line against Inter Rother, giving him the perfect opportunity to wind them up afterwards! 🤪🤣 A strike like that deserves to be celebrated!
