And this weekend… THE BLACK & BLUE ARMY MARCHES AGAIN. 🔥⚽

Players — it’s time to lace up, battle for every ball, fight for your teammates and leave absolutely everything out there. 💪

Coaches — the tactics are ready, the team talks are coming, and it’s time to lead the Army into battle. 🗣️🔥

Parents — get those chairs, coats, flasks and umbrellas ready. Your weekend starts at the touchline. ☕👏

Volunteers — the heartbeat behind it all. The people who give their time, energy and passion to make grassroots football happen. We salute you. 🫡🖤💙

⚽ THE WAIT IS OVER. THE SEASON STARTS HERE.

And that’s a wrap on pre season. We finished the summer on the green green grass playing a friendly at home . With only one sub today - the boys had a great opportunity to get some minutes in their legs and shake out any lingering holiday hangovers . And the boys were on it . From the first whistle to the final whistle the boys were magnificent - from front to back , they all played their part , scoring some great team goals

Proud of them , they looked like they were playing football well above their years !!

Star players today - Jack and Oliver.

Jack was voted captain before kick off by the rest of the boys which was nice to see - and he really put in a captains performance. Finding feet with passes , time and time again . And when he got chances , his ball striking was excellent - scoring 3 great goals .

Oliver . He went into the summer determined to work on his ball striking and shooting and today it paid off ! He was unplayable first half - attacking and running at the opposition and his shots at goals were absolute blasters ! He scored 2 great strikes that no one could have saved ! All that hard work has definitely paid off ! Well done Oliver !

New season starts next Sunday - so big thanks to ELR - whose shirts we will continue to wear with pride for another season !

Ringer “ on the pitch . Big thanks to Edward from the other under 8’s who came along to save the day and was captain for the match ! He also walked away with the parents player of the game ! Well done Edward .

We had a lovely pre season run out - with a few of the boys back from holiday and still working off a few late nights, they took their time getting into the game and were a wee bit sloppy during the first half . Luckily us managers earned there crust with an inspirational team talk and we managed a some good goals in the second half and a clean sheet ! It wasn’t enough to right the wrongs but at least we finished positively and on the front foot !

Well done to Harry , Jack and Oliver who all had a go in net ! And Oliver made some brilliant saves during the penalty shoot out at the end !!

A huge thanks to Simon at SJD Sports Coaching who gave 7 of our boys a chance in a life time this weekend ! The boys went over to the Manchester United Training Academy to play matches against some brilliant Manchester United players.

The boys had a great morning and thoroughly enjoyed their experience . It’s not every day you get this sort of opportunity and it’s these special memories which will stay with the boys for ever ! Well done lads 💙🖤

Nice evening for the boys , playing in a friendly at home , we played 60 minutes of football . It was warm so we had plenty of “ hydration breaks” , in between the drinks - some really good football was played !

The boys got the ball down and worked on their passing and moving - it was working really well and resulted in a few goals ! Which was great to see !!

Good goals from Harry , Jack , Oliver , Leo , Seb and Jacob meant we got over the line . The boys all had lots of fun and worked really hard !
