Not my usual post as I like to keep my page professional, full of pretty faces and good vibes but one thing I can not stand to see in this industry is the disrespect towards us technician’s. Something we’re just expected to put up with?
Part of the job apparently. Not sure on what planet????

1 hour before the treatment to be cancelled on for a 2 hour appointment at a cost of £45 is not acceptable by no means, but then to be ignored and blocked is point blank rude.

I’ve just had 3 weeks off work, turned clients away left right and centre for this individuals appointment for her to not have time spare to come, I have days where I don’t even get time for a drink 🤣
Like most others in this industry I work long hours to accommodate everyone’s needs, 12 hour shifts without no break and yes we choose to do it to ourselves but we do it to keep our clients happy and business flowing. So to be treated like this is beyond unfair and something I will not stand for.
Imagine your boss saying I’m taking £45 of your wage today cause I’m ‘busy’ so sit there for 2 hours twiddling your thumbs, it wouldn’t be accepted cause it’s wrong. So why is it beauticians are just meant to take it on the chin and keep quiet to remain ‘professional’ to not jeopardise their reputation. It’s wrong and that’s that. And it’s something I will no longer be doing.

I’ve removed the woman’s name from these messages out of decency, something I shouldn’t feel the need to do after being blocked however I’m more than happy to make other individuals in the area aware of this woman as I would hate someone else’s livelihood to be disrespected this way.

That’s my rant for the week done, but on the flip side thank you to all my lovely clients that show up week in week out and respect my policies. It doesn’t ever go unnoticed 🤍
