There's a reason why hospitals do xrays.

If there's bone sticking out from your shin, it's broken.

That's the only answer though.... "it's broken".

How badly? "Pretty bad but without an xray, we can't tell".

If there's no bone protruding, it may still be broken... how badly? "We don't know, you'll need to come in for an xray".

Now imagine you're NOT in the hospital, but instead sending a picture you took to your doctor.

This is why I can't give you a quote via a description of "it's doing a thing".

A picture of this 'thing' also doesn't help.

Then, if the gun is taken apart for better photos & reassembled, I still can't help.... but then it gets worse as now the thing is even more thingified than before and works even less.

The best example I can give regarding quotes, is a guy asking how much to fix his window ledge, being given a 'how long is a piece of string, I need to see it in person' sort of answer & then the homeowner sending pictures of the window.

A very vague guess of 'some' to 'plenty' from the builder along with a reenforced "I need to see it IN PERSON" & then the homeowner having a crack himself, fu***ng it up further along with his rendering, brickwork & glass, then asking "Ok, how much now?"

The answer is no longer 'some' to 'plenty' but instead 'more than before' to 'plenty'.

This quote for a G&G MP5 just went from "some, but unknown" to "even more" because the job changed from "ammo double feeding" to "totally locked up" after a few failed disassemble/reassembles.

Quotes are impossible....

I.... I just (kinda) fixed my own laptop... (sorta).

This, if you know me, is mind boggling....

I fixed the RAM failure by drinking a triple Jamesons & coke whilst attempting to snap said laptop in half.

I failed... but it started up.

Then with careful prompts for an hour via WhatsApp, Mr Lloyd helped me decrypt & unthingy the doodah.

I then closed the laptop & it never worked again.

But! I can swap out the whosits & pop it into another laptop & I'll be back in business!

Remember.... violent assault of delicate technology is ALWAYS the solution.

I feel like Sandra Bullock in 'The Net'.

Laptop is hepiebolaids-19 levels of fu**ed.

I have a new laptop.

I just need to get everything back... I can't swap the memory or anything over despite the new laptop being identical to the old laptop & that has a RAM failure & won't turn on, the hard drive is bit locked (correct term?) so I'm literally starting 100% fresh.

Wish me luck.... because I hate computer s**t more than any hpa speediboi on the planet....

I'd suck off a whole speedsoft team to never have to deal with computers, passwords & recovery ever again...

Yet here we are.

Below is something else that's due to go to a new home, waiting on the payment from the new owner now.

A rental that went out to a customer who was happy to collect & drop it back to me when he collects his pew to after work is completed next week.
