A huge congratulations to our Oakfield Merlins U12 boys, who gave it absolutely everything at the Paige Bowyer Walker Memorial Tournament in Gosport on Saturday. 👏

Despite the scorching heatwave, the boys showed incredible determination, teamwork and spirit throughout the tournament. They narrowly missed out on a place in the final, but what a fantastic achievement and performance from every single player. 🌟

It was a privilege to be invited and take part in a tournament held in memory of Paige Bowyer Walker, a Gosport Borough player who sadly lost her life while on holiday last year. It was a very special day of football, bringing teams together to remember Paige and celebrate her love of the game. 💙

Well done boys, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. You battled through the heat, supported each other and gave it your all from start to finish. 🦾👏
