We’re excited to reveal just a few of the former professional and international players who have pledged to pull their boots back on and play for the MBIA Legends Team at our Touch Rugby Fundraiser! 💙💚

These are just some of the ex-professional players who have pledged to play. We’ve got more names involved, alongside members of the MBIA community, come along to see them all in action.

They’re coming together for much more than a game of rugby.

Every tackle may have been taken out of this touch tournament 😉 — but the passion, rivalry and competitive spirit certainly haven't!

Most importantly, they’ll be helping us raise vital funds and awareness for people and families affected by brain injury.

In a rearranged fixture Porth travelled to Abercynon RFC taking a 14 nil lead in the first 13 minutes, Porth dominated the scrums and our backs took full advantage of this.
Abercynon showed good stages of play but were unable to break thru the Porth defence. Abercynon went passive in the last Qtr which slowed Porths game plan.
Final whistle 5- 24 win for Porth.

🎤 IOAN RHYS MUSIC — LIVE FROM 5:30PM! 🎤

After a full afternoon of touch rugby, stalls, food, family activities and entertainment, Ioan Rhys will be taking over from 5:30pm with live music to keep the atmosphere going! 🎸🎶

So don't rush home when the rugby finishes — grab a drink, get comfortable and stick around for the evening! 🍻

And remember, the whole event is FREE ENTRY! 🙌

A new look Porth side for the 26/27 season took to the field at Penygraig RFC on a nice field where most grounds are dry & Hard its credit to Afron who has the pitch just right. best check the water meter.....
From the Ko Porth took an early lead running in 3 quick try's, the pack were on fire but Penygraig put up a good fight at times leading to an half time score of Porth 19 - 5.
Second half was much of the same with players having plenty of water breaks to finish the game with Porth the winners 45 - 5
