INTRODUCING THE CWMBRÂN CELTIC MEN’S WALKING FOOTBALL GRAND SLAM SERIES! ⚽

We’re delighted to launch an exciting new monthly competition for men’s Over-50s and Over-60s walking football teams.

The series will:

📅 Begin in September 2026 and finish in March 2027
🗓️ Take place on the last Sunday afternoon of each month
🎄 Have no event in December
📍 Be played in Cwmbrân
👥 Be limited to a maximum of eight teams in each age category
💷 Cost £60 per team, per round
📖 Be played to English FA walking football rules

Expect great facilities, excellent organisation, friendly competition and plenty of football!

Whether you’re an established club or putting together a new team, we’d love to welcome you—but places are limited, so please register your interest early.

Today’s Cwmbrân Celtic Walking Football Tournament was a great success, with some excellent football played throughout the day.

A huge thank you to every team and player who joined us and helped make the tournament such an enjoyable occasion.

Cwmbran Celtic Walking Football Club is calling on women aged 35 and over to get back into the game as they strengthen their competitive women’s over 35s and 50s teams.

The club says previous football experience is helpful but not essential with enthusiasm and a love of the sport being just as important. Their over 40s side are back‑to‑back league champions, and the squad is looking to add more players as they continue to grow.

Walking football offers a lower‑impact way to enjoy the sport, helping players stay competitive, improve fitness and make new friends. Training currently takes place once a week at the 3G pitch in Llantarnam.
