What a performance from the boys! 👏⚪️🔵

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support them on Sunday 💙

With our keeper unavailable, the boys were given a different challenge — and they absolutely rose to it! The boys were fantastic from start to finish. Their pressing, work rate and teamwork were brilliant, with some excellent passing, link-up play and assists throughout the game.

Even better, every single player got on the scoresheet! ⚽️👏

The boys worked incredibly hard for each other, created chances, defended as a team and showed some fantastic football.

What a game! 👏⚽️

In very warm conditions, every single boy put in a huge shift in an incredibly competitive match that genuinely could have gone either way.

The boys never stopped battling, showed fantastic determination and fought right until the final whistle. 💪⚽️

🫡 CAPTAIN
A tremendous captain’s performance today! 👏🔥 He played all four quarters and his energy levels were incredible. Non-stop running, powerful driving runs with the ball, some superb passes and fantastic assists, and also committed when we needed him defensively. He really led from the front and set the standard with his work rate and determination. An immense performance. 💪⚽️

⭐️ PLAYER OF THE MATCH ⭐️
A fantastic, tenacious performance! 🔥 Excellent pressing and defensive work, brave driving forward and deservedly getting on the scoresheet. He also hit the inside of the post and forced some great saves from the opposition goalkeeper. On another day, he could easily have had a hat-trick! 🎩⚽️

The boys delivered brilliantly across all three of our key focuses today and, most importantly, worked incredibly hard for each other. They pressed together, recovered together and supported one another until the final whistle. 💙🤍

So much to build on from today. The effort, teamwork and bravery were outstanding!

Tuesday's training was a quieter session due to the holiday season. ☀️

We kicked things off with a close-control ball mastery drill before moving on to one of the boys' favourites – King of the Ring! 👑⚽

Next, we worked through a match scenario, focusing on distribution from the back and improving the boys' movement off the ball. We then moved into some 1v1s before finishing the evening with a mixed-team match and a penalty shootout alongside the MAP U7s Blues.

It's fair to say the boys' concentration wasn't quite at its usual level on Tuesday... I think some of them had mentally already checked out for the summer holidays! 😂☀️

Our Trainer of the Week, however, was switched on from start to finish. He listened well throughout the session, was always ready between the sticks, and pulled off some fantastic saves during the drills, match and penalties.
