Morning All
*this is a pre_season lesson for Everyone ✅
and ideally if All of the boys will read that in full 😉 so they can understand the outcome of not being in control of emotions / behaviours while on the pitch 👌⚽
🚨 From the start of the 2026/27 season, a referee at a grassroots match in England can stop the game, send both teams to their penalty areas and call the coaches and captains into the centre circle — and they can do it twice. If a third stop is needed, the match is abandoned. The FA calls them "cooling-off periods", and after a County FA pilot they are now rolling out nationally. Here's what that means for your child's team on a Sunday morning.⤵

Today's journey was painful for some of our Boys🩵❌ and no we aren't talking about score, because perhaps score was up to Map Kings U12’s after 60min of the game 🎯
We had serious ankle twisted from our super-fast, well organised winger Ridwan which after X-RAY scan luckily ended in positive way / only ice-packs and lots of rest requires 😭✅ just before half time left us without any substitute players.
Boys tried them best with well organised line up holding - controlling game, without letting opponent come to often close to defence / goalkeeper area👌
Whoever another lesson was implemented very quickly - always play to the whistle or referee decisions ✅ there is no room for discussion / gesticulation or behaving inappropriate ❌
DISCIPLINE is crucial in young footballers journey
Quicker they understand why, how and accept how should/ shouldn't behave quicker they become professional and valuable team members ✅⚽🩵 not only in a game / training timeframe but also in a life journey 💪
Well done to Shane Goves for quick valuable lessons straight after full time 🩵⚽
Also please take time and ideally share this Quote below of Sir Alex Ferguson with your Son's 😉
Ridwan we wish you a quick and healthy recovery
Everyone else, enjoy a couple of days off - see you All on final fitness session coming this Wednesday 🏃♂️
Thank you All the Parents for your attendance and greet support ✅

Talent matters. But mentality often decides what happens next. ⚽
Two players can have similar ability and react completely differently when the game gets tough.
One hides after a mistake.
One asks for the ball again.
One gets frustrated.
One resets.
One waits for the game to happen.
One tries to influence it.
That mindset isn’t something kids are simply born with either — it can be coached, encouraged and developed over time.
For me, one of the biggest jobs in grassroots football is helping young players become brave enough to make mistakes, resilient enough to recover from them, and confident enough to keep going.
Which of these 7 do you think makes the biggest difference in a young player? 👇
