So today I was in South Molton having the best day. driving across fields, chasing pheasants
But mostly working
Today’s job was to locate a medium pressure gas main across a load of fields, then survey a roundabout to allow for a new junction and entrance into the proposed new house building project.
Safe to say the gas main was located and depths recorded, the service plans were completely incorrect.
So once again it proves to employ a professional
Utility surveyor.
hitting this gas main would be catastrophic.

7 years ago I started my first job as Newscan surveys here

So today I was in Penzance locating underground services around the Penzance art gallery

So today I’m down in Truro, Surveying these here fields for a new house building site
Cracking morning thankfully the rain stayed away.
Located a water main and an unknown service
Running across the fields
The unknown service wasn’t on any utility plans for the site
I’m sure the construction company will be pleased I found this service for them as they would of never known of its existence and possible hit it causing a very expensive repair or even worse.
It pays to get a professional utility surveyor on site before your dig

Nice little evening job tonight
assisting the tarmac crews so they can safely plan out the road in Plympton Cott hill
Locals
the road will be closed from Lidl’s to the top of the hill at 7pm

So today we are in St Stephen’s Near St Austell
Completing a utility survey for a school.
