Are you curious to try open water swimming, but don't know where to start?
Then I might have the solution! I'm running two, 90 minute sessions on the 18th and 25th of July at Gildenburgh Water, aimed at anyone who wants to give open water swimming a try, or starting out and would like some tips to make it more enjoyable and safe.
We'll cover how to stay safe in open water, swim technique, equipment and much more.
All in a controlled and safe environment.
The cost is £20 per person (plus Gildenburgh swim fee)
Wetsuits are optional. Tow floats are mandatory if not using a wetsuit. Both can be hired from the venue.
To book, or if you have any questions, contact me via messenger, or drop me an email ([email protected]).
I look forward to seeing some new faces and introducing you to the wonderful world of open water swimming!

Had the pleasure of introducing one of my swimmers to Peterborough Lido over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A little warm for the wetsuit, but a great session to try one for the first time and get used to the sensation, before his Ironman swim in August.

Some days it's nice to get a reminder of why I do what I do and the impact it has on others.
Was lovely to get some feedback from people I've coached.

Been making the most of the Lido again.
It occurred to me in this photo that two the words "deep end" can strike fear into hearts of many people.
But it doesn't have to. A little knowledge and a bit of practice can turn it into a fun and magical place!
