Can we equal our best ever run in The Emirates FA Cup?

In 2002/03 and 2006/07 we reached the Second Round Qualifying, before losing to Horsham and Kettering Town respectively.

Now in 2026/27 Step 4 Buckhurst Hill FC are the ones we need to beat to get there, and they've had a strong start to their season.

Hopefully we can count on your support this weekend, as Makate's men look to make their own Yaxley history.

It took us 90 mins then a replay against Thetford Town FC. 90 mins then a replay, extra time, and penalties to defeat Wisbech Town. Can we get over higher level Buckhurst Hill?

As a newly operating community interest company, securing high-value equipment on terms that actually work for us is never easy. Budgets are tight, trading history is short, and doors don't always open first time.

Which is why great local people make such a difference.

We're delighted to say we've taken delivery of a tractor for the ground; supplied by Wisson-Burton Machinery via James Veni at Windsor Materials Handling. James went out of his way to make this work for us, and Tom did a great job of securing a great piece of kit, and showing us how to operate it safely.

It's a big step forward for the site, and particularly for the upkeep of our 3G pitch. That surface is used by so many people across the community every week, and keeping it clean, well maintained and safe for everyone who steps on it is one of our most important jobs. This makes that job a whole lot easier.

Thank you to everyone involved. It genuinely matters to a club and a CIC at our stage.
