As well as five competitive teams in local leagues, we also have introduced a social team.

Penkridge Panthers Purple vs Lady Legends 🏐

Some matches are packed with highlights, moments of brilliance and endless positives to talk about. But some are the opposite.

Penkridge Panthers Purple faced Lady Legends in a game that tested patience, resilience and at times, the ability to count down the remaining minutes. Despite everyone’s best efforts, things never quite clicked into place and frustration crept in throughout the court. However, the team kept battling until the final whistle, showing plenty of determination even when the game wasn’t going our way.

As the old saying goes, “If you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say nothing at all,” so we’ll leave the detailed analysis there and move swiftly on to the people who did manage to shine ✨

Did someone say Pumas are playing netball again????

A new league, a new set of teams to play against, new positions. A fresh start for us!

Q1 nerves and excitement were evident on the court, a tough start and a tight game at this point.

Q2 Our Meg went down with and injury just as we were finding our flow meaning a quick change on the court.

Q3 we started to pull together and took the lead.

Q4 We maintained our lead and battled hard for the win!

Penkridge Panthers Black 🆚 Aldridge Lionesses

Unfortunately, the score didn’t go our way tonight, definitely some positives to take away🖤

We faced Lionesses and although they took the win, we’ve closed the gap from the last time we played them — which shows the progress we’re making! 💪🏼

There were some nice moments throughout the game, and the whole team worked hard right until the final whistle. We’ll keep working and come back stronger!🤩

Penkridge Ninjas VS Aldridge Ladies

A very fast-paced game, with the speed leading to a number of lost balls and rushed decisions. We need to remember to slow the game down when we can and play at our own speed, rather than trying to match the pace of our opponents.
There were some positive signs as the game went on, with the last quarter showing better flow and composure, but there’s still plenty for us to work on.

The Panthers are finally back to winning ways and what a performance it was! 🐆💜

From the first whistle, the team showed determination, energy and teamwork, setting a high tempo that Vipers struggled to match. Every player worked tirelessly across the court, with Panthers displaying everything that makes netball such a fantastic game.
The shooters were absolutely on fire, converting chances with confidence and accuracy throughout the match. Across the court there were brilliant interceptions, relentless defensive pressure and countless players making themselves available for those all-important centre passes. The movement, communication and teamwork was amazing, with everyone contributing to a well-deserved 23-9 victory.

After working so hard all season, securing this win feels extra special and the Panthers are absolutely over the moon! 🎉💜🐆

Fixture: Penkridge Panthers Black 🆚 Tequila Shots

Another win for the Panthers!💪🏼🖤
It was sooo nice to have all 8 players available for this one, and we definitely made the most of it! 🤩

It was a really close game throughout, with Tequila Shots slightly ahead. By the third quarter, we had battled back to make it all square, setting up a huge final quarter!

And what a final quarter it was… 🔥 We absolutely smashed it, putting away 8 goals to their 1! We worked hard to get those all important turnovers and really turned them into opportunities down the court🙌🏼

Penkridge Ninjas vs G Force Jaguars

A very fast-paced game from start to finish, with both teams showing plenty of determination and fight.

The first quarter was even, with both defensive units holding strong

As the game progressed, G Force Jaguars’ defence were on top form, putting pressure on the Ninjas and making it difficult to get the ball into the D. Despite this, the Penkridge Ninjas continued to push through, showing resilience and working hard to create opportunities.

The pace of the game was relentless, and at times we allowed ourselves to be drawn into the opposition’s tempo and style of play.

Final Score:
Penkridge Ninjas 10 – 29 G Force Jaguars

Although the scoreline wasn’t what we wanted, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, particularly the strong start and the determination shown throughout the game.

A tough game, but one we can learn from. On to the next one! 💪🏐

Penkridge Panthers Purple vs G Force Leopards 🏐
Penkridge Panthers Purple faced a tough challenge this week against G Force Leopards, one of the division’s top teams. Despite the final score being in favour of the G Force Leopards, the Panthers can be incredibly proud of their performance.
Coming up against a side sitting at the top of the table, the team showed great determination and adaptability throughout the match. The Panthers worked hard to match the pace of their opponents while staying true to our own style of play and competing right until the final whistle.

Although results haven’t quite gone our way so far this season, the Panthers continue to show resilience and a positive attitude. The team consistently puts its best foot forward, taking time to reflect on each performance and identify areas for improvement. That commitment and willingness to learn will undoubtedly help us grow and develop in the matches ahead.
A special thank you goes to our Captain Tiffany⁩ and Vice Captain Faye⁩, whose leadership, organisation and encouragement continue to keep the team focused, motivated and working together both on and off the court. Also to Julie⁩ who’s recovering from injury being the best cheerleader! Their support is greatly appreciated by everyone in the team 💜

A fantastic effort from the Ninjas against a very strong Hednesford Hawks side.
There was an improvement from our last meeting with the Hawks, where the score finished 15–32. This time, we kept the Hawks to 25, showing how much progress the team is making and how well we competed against a strong opposition. 💪🏻
