Not our day today at Manderston Cricket Club where they set 220 and we were all out for less than the ton
but it was a glorious day of perfect weather great sportsmanship and a lovely tea.

Cricket has space for everyone and juniors mix well in these friendlies, Rory batted for 11 over and bowl a spell of 3.

Rory and Jamie played their first senior game today for Peebles County Cricket Club over at Hawick And Wilton Cricket Club

The boys batted, bowled and fielded well in a very sporting game with a nail biting finish where Hawick passed our total with 2 balls to spare.

Both sides really appreciated the boys making their senior debut and it was a great advert for the sporting nature of our great game.

They also played along side their Dads who coach at Peebles and Penicuik cricket clubs. So huge smiles all round.

Softball Cricket camp at St Boswells

As part of Summer of Sport 2026, our Cricket Softball Superstars is now available to book!

In partnership with Cricket Scotland, primary 4-7 children can enjoy playing and learning cricket skills this summer.

Committee members and helpers will be going around the town from 1st to 14th June to carry out our annual door to door collections. We are incredibly grateful to anyone that donates, to ensure the continued running of the festival. In addition, we have planned a street collection on Peebles High Street on Saturday 6th June.
We are conscious that as we move towards a more cashless society, less people carry loose change. In order to help you support us, all our collection cans include a QR code that will direct you to an online payment option.

Great opportunity for an introduction to High School Rugby if you’ve not played before, just been way from the game for a while or currently play.

P7 Opportunity | Rugby at Peebles High School

Tweeddale Active Schools and David Changleng are delighted to offer P7 pupils the chance to take part in an after-school rugby session at Peebles High School.

This is a great opportunity for pupils to meet other P7s, build confidence, and have fun through rugby games and drills in a welcoming environment.
