Classic Bike Festival 2026

Brilliant weekend at bishopscourt onboard the Ability Energy Ltd Superstock 1000 as well as the Tz350 from Mark Kirkpatrick.

Managed to qualify 2nd on the big bike on Saturday morning before having a mega race behind Jonny and Richard Kerr in the battle for the win before a mistake on the second last lap took me out of contention but still brought it home in a mega P3 position. On Sunday I opted out of racing the big bike due to oil being on the track during my 350 race and a lot of rain shortly after.

A mega thank you to Mark for allowing me to take out the 350 this weekend, first time on it was qualifying and managed to put it in 4th position a very interesting bike with lots of characteristics to breakdown 😅. Unfortunately we could not get the bike to run for the race on Saturday (more rider error than anything 🫣🤣), but we managed to get out on Sunday to have a great ride to the front and lead the 350 class before settling for second place finish with more and more oil being put down towards the end of the race I wasn’t sure how the 25 year old tyres would handle it 😂.

Overall a fantastic weekend of racing and seeing a lot of friends, family and special bikes, as always my favourite was Joey’s 250 😍. Very happy with how I’m riding currently and have a few ideas for the last bit of pace we need to be right in the fight for race wins.

Unreal performance for his first road race, massive thanks to Paul Mc Ivor and our own Jamie Lyons helping out this weekend - if anyone can help Rossi Dobson out get in touch , we are doing our best for this cub

P3 in the Neil Robinson Memorial Race.

Great weekend at bishopscourt taking 2x 4th place finishes on Saturday and managing to get back on the podium for the big race. The final race of the day we brought it home with a safe 5th place to round out a great weekend.

Massive thanks to all my family, friends and sponsors for making this possible looking forward to the next round and to try improve once again.

Rd 4 of Usbk championship on Saturday was full of positives but the results did not show.

Race 1 was going well after a terrible start coming from 7 th I was making the move for second place and made a mistake with my hand placement on my lever which resulted in me running wide at the last turn. Disappointing however I was able to do mid 55 lap times up until this which was a positive.

Race 2 I had a great start straight into second place and tried to tag on to the leader unfortunately we had thought we could get 2 races out of the Sc0 tyre but this resulted in losing grip after lap 4 and finished the race in P4.

Really excited to get back to Bishopscourt again which is a track I enjoy and suits my riding style better.

Also a huge thank you to Roy Hanna for all his help with setup at the weekend it is much appreciated and to Paul, dad and Gareth for all their help, as well as the Dobson fam for letting us into the awning.

Now to get back to training and come back swinging next month. 💪

Usbk Rd3:

Another positive step in the right direction at round 3. A wet practice and an electronic issue left me in a disappointing 8th place.

Race 1 I battled my way to 6 th just struggling with a bit of top speed compared to other bikes but managed to get another pb lap time on my last lap with some clear track.

Race 2 was a great race getting into the 55 second lap times for my second time there on a big bike and finished in 4 th position after making a mistake at the last turn whilst in 3rd.

Overall I decreased the time to the front boys by 7 seconds over race distance in the second race so a positive step and look forward to getting out in 2 weeks time and trying to sort a few setup issues to get into the 54 second laps

Massive thanks to all my friends, family and sponsors for making it happen, enjoying riding my bike again and pleased with how my pace is coming on.
