🏆 Job done!! I'm the first ever back-to-back Elite Cup Champion 😁

We managed to have a pretty consistent weekend, which was the plan, keeping my lead at the top of the table and claiming the title with one race still to go.

In yesterday's meeting I claimed second of the day overall, with 2 x 2nd places, and what looked like a guaranteed top 2 place ended up as a 5th due to my engine overheating on the final lap.

Today I started the first race from the back of the grid, and I managed to fight my way up to 4th. Pole in the next heat led to my first win of the weekend after a very close battle with Chris Needham. The final was one to forget, after making a superb start from the back of grid, I was shunted off the track at turn 2 and suffered a puncture. My team were awesome as always and got me back out, but the incident was a long way from the pits so I ended up almost a lap down. I didn't give up, put in some hot laps and still gained some valuable points.

🏁 American SpeedFest – Race Day 2 Results! 🏁

What a way to end an incredible weekend at Brands Hatch!

The day started with P5 in Heat 1, before fighting at the front in Heat 2 to finish P2 after a fantastic race. That left us in a strong position for the final, where we managed to bring home the win! 🏆

At the end of the day, we finished tied on points for the overall victory, with the tie-break decided by the number of overtakes made across the two heats. Congratulations to Trevor Krouse, who takes the overall win after an outstanding weekend and a superb drive throughout. Having travelled all the way from the USA, it was a well-deserved result.

The final was honestly one of the best races I've had. Trevor and I raced hard but fair and had an epic last lap, and the battle for the lead was intense from start to finish. Those are the races you remember and the kind of competition that makes Legends racing so special.

After a challenging first day, we're ready to go again for Day 2 of racing at Brands Hatch!

Yesterday didn't quite go to plan...

➡️ Heat 1: Tyler looked set for a guaranteed top-two finish after breaking away at the front with Chris Needham. Unfortunately, while lapping a back marker through the final complex, Tyler was forced onto the grass. A last-ditch move around the outside of the final corner nearly paid off, but he eventually crossed the line in 5th.

➡️ Heat 2: Starting from the back of the grid, Tyler produced a brilliant drive through the field, quickly catching the front runners and fighting his way to an impressive 3rd place finish. 👊

➡️ Final: One to forget! On the opening lap, Tyler had to take to the grass to avoid a collision 💥 and found himself right at the back of the field. The Safety Car then made an appearance—which would normally help—but getting stuck behind a slower car on the restart only made things tougher 🙈. Despite putting in some absolutely stonking laps and clawing back a few positions, there was simply no chance of catching the leading pack. Tyler eventually brought the car home in 9th place.

Today is a new day and we're hoping for a much better outcome! ☀️
