Today's commendation is something I'll always be proud of, but it's not the finish line.
Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of working alongside incredible people through the NCO Academy, supporting the professional development of soldiers across the Army.
Receiving the General Officer Commanding Army Individual Training Command Commendation is an honour. Still, it also serves as a reminder that leadership is about continuous learning, serving others and creating opportunities for those around you.
There are far too many people to thank individually, but this recognition reflects the support, encouragement and teamwork of everyone I've had the privilege to work alongside.
Tomorrow, it's back to doing what I enjoy most: helping others develop, continuing to learn and striving to be better than I was yesterday.
Develop self. Develop others.

The mountains have a way of putting everything into perspective. 🏔️
Sunshine, low clouds, rain and some incredible views. Every trip is different, but they all teach the same lesson.
You don't always get perfect conditions, but you always come back with more experience, greater confidence and a renewed appreciation for the outdoors.
For me, that's what it's all about.
Already looking forward to the next adventure.

Armed Forces Day 🇬🇧
Today is about recognising everyone who serves, has served, and the families who stand behind them.
Looking through these photos reminded me that service is made up of far more than the moments people see. It's early mornings, difficult training, shared challenges, learning from others, remembering those who came before us, and building friendships that last a lifetime.
I feel incredibly fortunate for the opportunities I've had, the people I've served alongside, and the lessons I've learnt along the way.
Those experiences continue to shape who I am, both in and out of uniform, and inspire the work I now do supporting others through leadership development, physical training and the Cadet Burpee Battle.
To everyone currently serving, veterans, reservists, cadet forces and military families - thank you.
Happy Armed Forces Day 🇬🇧

🚨 A CFAV and Guinness World Record attempter is challenging cadets across the UK to put their fitness to the test while raising money for the Cadet Forces.
Mark Bailey's Cadet Burpee Challenge is now underway, with cadets stepping up to complete burpees, support a great cause, and be part of a nationwide effort.
Would your unit take on the challenge?
