It’s The Nene Sunday League cup action this Sunday….
It’s a new beginning for the Stags, new home pitch, new season, new division… but the lads are hungrier than ever.
Thorplands now have a team playing in Thorplands! Come@and support the lads as we kick off the 26/27 season at home to brs_reserves_fc - kick off 10.30am, Sunday at Round Spinney.

The Nene Sunday League cup action kicks off the 26/27 season.. The Stags will now ply their trade in the Championship division this year. Are we up to the task ???
This week will see us hopefully kick off at our new home pitch, Round Spinney. Although we do have Ling’s wood booked in case of any late issues. We will confirm for all our trusted fans out there. Let’s get this party started…

So the Stags pre season can to an end tonight at Spencer Mill FC, Wootton Fields Wanderers FC would take the result in what was another good test for the players. A cracking first half with good football and some spurned opportunities. As ever with pre season game, changes can switch the momentum… but that is what pre season is about. Another good shift for the lads, lessons learnt, improvements to be made in some areas. But overall the team is moving in the right direction. We now turn our attentions to the start of the The Nene Sunday League with week 1 - Nene cup!
