Welcome to Colombo and the Race Course Stadium ahead of tomorrow’s game!

And the season is up and running as Phil Dowson names his matchday 23 to face the Asia Pacific Lions tomorrow. It's a chance to see some of the new arrivals and some of the Academy lads.

It's been a busy time at the Gardens throughout the summer as the village has been under going a major rebuild.

Supporters have two chances to try out the new village space -

The first is on Saturday 12 September - RugbyFest 2.0 will be a family-friendly festival to celebrate 2025 Rugby World Cup, from 11am until 6pm. As well as seeing the village, there will be Loughborough Lightning players and the Gallagher PREM trophy. And there will be a Girls rugby festival. It's £5 a ticket. On the following Tuesday 15 September, the Saints are hosting an Open training session. The village will open at 4.30pm and the training session will take place at 6.30pm and last around an hour. You'll get a chance to try the new food vendors in the the village, get some autographs from the players (checkout the guidance for this in the link below) and again you will have an opportunity to see the Gallagher PREM trophy.
It's £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for Under 18s and the ticket includes a food voucher. Tickets are on sale now for Season Ticket Holders. Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from 12pm on Wednesday 26 August. Details here:

LWP Series 3 Episode 1 - Ladies Wot Pod are back!! Talking Saints, Blues and Lightning - it’s been a busy summer!

Where Claire and Lis talk about the goings on at Saints, Lightning and Blues. We talk about the latest matches as the Academy begin their league matches - we do discuss that very looong competition name. And we celebrate that yet again our Academy is delivering the goods.

We talk about all the new arrivals at the three clubs, we talk weddings, our new Saints captain and we talk pre-season as both Claire and Lis have been out and about. We talk about Claire’s trips to Stowe and Goldington Road where she took photos of the teams working hard in pre-season.

We celebrate the renewal of the Strategic Partnership between Bedford Blues and Northampton Saints. And that partnership has led to Loughborough Lightning heading to Goldington Road for the JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup match against Saracens.

And from that we talk about the coaching changes at all three clubs.

Fifteen years later Fraser is named as Northampton Saints captain.😇

Congratulations to Fraser Dingwall who has been announced as Saints captain for this season.

Saint #1995 made his debut in 2018 against Leicester Tigers at HQ - he was aptly wearing his Cambridge Rugby Club socks. He has already led Saints many times in George Furbank's absence.

Great news this afternoon as Northampton Saints and Bedford Blues announce the renewal of the Strategic Partnership.

And in more coaching news, Reece Marshall will step into Jim Henry's role as Defence coach for the Blues. Reece has already started work with the Blues in Pre-season.

And in fixture news, the Mobbs Memorial Match will be played on Friday 27 November - kick off 7.30pm.
