Last night some of our 2016s had a guest player all the way from San Diego join them, Nathan is in the country on holidays and was keen to experience some European football whilst here to compare to his regular experience in the USA. The boys loved having him join us and he done amazingly well! 👌🔴⚽️🔵

Clonduff 2018 tournament

After winning last week’s tournament, the Titans travelled to Avoneil to play a year up at the Clonduff Tournament — and once again, it was a brilliantly ran tournament.

The boys picked up exactly where they left off last week, winning their first game against Immaculata, with an own goal, Corey and a Finlay hat-trick sealing a fantastic start.

Game two saw us face the Sirocco girls, where the boys came away with a win, thanks to another own goal and a goal from Archie.

Game three was against a strong Donegal Celtic side, but these boys just keep doing what they do best. Another fantastic performance saw us win , with an own goal and two great goals from Finlay.

Game four was against Tullycarnet girls, and the boys continued their impressive run with a victory, James and Archie getting on the scoresheet.

By this stage, the kids were really working as a unit, both in attack and defence, and they were an absolute joy to watch. The teamwork, effort and work rate were outstanding.

Our final group game was against the hosts, Clonduff, and it turned into a real battle — probably our hardest game of the day. We were extremely unlucky not to come away with the win, with the game finishing . Carson scored an absolute worldie of a free-kick, with Finlay grabbing another well-deserved goal.

Then came the final against Clonduff’s other team. We took the lead right from kick-off and, to be fair to Clonduff, they made us work extremely hard throughout. But these kids just keep delivering week after week, performing well beyond their years.

The final whistle went with the Titans winning 4-2, with goals from Murray, Carson and a brace from Archie to round off the scoring. 🏆⚽️

This group of kids are an absolute joy to watch and honestly amaze me every single week with their attitude, teamwork and unbelievable work rate. They continue to show just how much they are developing, and every single one of them should be incredibly proud.

⭐ Special mention to wee Finlay, who went on to win the Player of the Tournament award after a brilliant performance from start to finish. A thoroughly deserved award! 👏⚽️

Another tournament win, another outstanding team performance, and another day these boys will remember.
