Hi everyone, Newquay AFC Youth GIRLS u9's need a sponsor for our hoodies! The cost is £430 but can be fully deducted from VAT returns so no cost in the end. AND, I'll do all the work, you'll just need to pay the invoice.

Hi everyone, Newquay AFC Youth GIRLS u9's need your help. We need a sponsor for our hoodies. The cost will be £432 in total but if your business is VAT registered then this will cost you nothing as it can be declared as an expense against VAT. So....please help our girls out as they're going to get a bit chilly this winter without them. Thanks, Mike

**TRURO MONDAY 6 ASIDE**Huge congratulations to the excellent Munchen who won this season's Cup and to OTR who won the shield. Special congratulations to Benidorm Poolside who have been with us now for a few seasons and have never missed a night even though they lose more than they win. They epitomise what we all love about 6 aside, they play for the love of playing and on Monday they finally managed to defy the odds to win the bowl with their keeper scoring the all important second goal with an effort from the halfway line! Well done boys!!

⚽ Newquay Wildcats U9 Girls Open Trials ⚽
We’re holding open trials for next season’s Newquay Wildcats U9 Girls team on Tuesday 14 July, from 5pm to 6pm at Treviglas Sports Hub, on the grass.
To be eligible for the team, players must currently be in Year 2 or Year 3.
If your daughter would like to trial but cannot make this time, please contact Mike and we’ll try our best to work something out.
Parents must contact Mike on 07792 721353 to book their daughter’s place at the trial.
Spaces must be booked in advance, so please get in touch as soon as possible if your daughter would like to attend.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Summer Sixes Tournament! ⚽☀️

What a day! This was by far the biggest and best tournament we've ever organised, and we really hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

The standard of football throughout the day was incredible. After some eye-catching results in the group stages, the competition became unbelievably tight in both the Cup and Shield. From the knockout rounds onwards, it genuinely felt impossible to predict who would lift the trophies!

In the Shield, St Austell's S Grose Plastering battled all the way to the final but just fell at the final hurdle against The Gentlemen, who deservedly took home the title. Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic tournament.

The Cup was packed with quality sides, but in the end there could only be one winner. Huge congratulations to the legendary Return of the G, who proved that age really is just a number! The veteran side produced some truly telepathic teamwork and quality football to edge out the energetic Shocker AM in a thrilling final by the narrowest of margins.

Events like this simply wouldn't happen without the support of so many people, so we'd like to say a massive thank you to:

👏 Newquay Hornets RFC for preparing the pitches.
👏 Our fantastic team of referees and organisers, who worked tirelessly throughout the day.

👏 Jack Stevenson Football Fun Factory for keeping the children entertained.
👏 Gary Roberts , who did a brilliant job as the voice of the tournament.
👏 And, of course, every single player, team, supporter, friend and family member who came along and made the atmosphere so special.

Your support is what makes this tournament what it is, and we can't thank you enough.

We'll be back next year, bigger and better than ever... but maybe you'll see us even sooner. 👀
