📒 - When Ike first came to WIN Football Coaching, he started with 1-to-1 sessions to develop his technical ability and build his confidence. Ike later joined our Foundation group sessions, where he quickly progressed from our Foundation B group into Foundation A. His speed, determination and love for football are incredible for his age, and it comes as no surprise that, after also being scouted by Middlesbrough and Sunderland, Ike has now signed for Newcastle United Academy. Seeing the progress Ike has made since first coming through the doors for a 1-to-1 session has been brilliant, but this achievement is ultimately down to his own hard work, attitude and love for the game.

🌟 - Jack is this week’s Discovery WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for controlled dribbling and playing a crucial role in leading his team to victory today.

🌟 - Santi is this week’s Foundation B WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for his effort. Santi joined us at WIN today for a single session as he actually lives in Spain. Although Santi did not know any of the other children, he worked hard and listened well which was what won him the award.

🌟 - Max was voted by Cole as this week’s Foundation A WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for an improvement in his overall ability and always showing up eager to learn.

🌟 - Mason is this week’s Foundation B WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for his improvement throughout the duration of today’s session. Mason started off slightly nervous and apprehensive but by the end of the session scored a few wonderful goals and topped them off with a Ronaldo SUIII.

🌟 - James was voted by Cole as this week’s Foundation A WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for excellent work rate, resilience and his ability to take on new information and put it into practice.

🌟 - Sheun is this week’s Youth Development WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for displaying terrific defending during his first session and showing great composure on the ball.

📒 - About a month ago, I received a message from Ozzy’s mum explaining that her son, Ozzy, loves football but struggles with dyspraxia. Being honest, I’d never even heard of dyspraxia before, so it gave me the opportunity to learn more about it and understand the challenges Ozzy faces. Dyspraxia is a co-ordination disorder that affects motor planning and balance, which can have a significant impact on confidence. Because of this, I recommended that Ozzy started in our Discovery sessions, despite being 8 years old, to develop his fundamental movement skills alongside his confidence with the ball.

In just a few weeks, Ozzy has developed physically, mentally and emotionally, and I’m incredibly proud to say that he’ll now be moving into our Foundation sessions, which is a step up. Most importantly, Ozzy has never let dyspraxia stop him from working hard, enjoying football and improving every single week. His attitude and determination have been brilliant to see.

🌟 - Jasim was voted by Cole as this week’s Foundation A WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for displaying confidence during his first session and showing great technical ability on the ball.

🌟 - Amaveer is this week’s Youth Development WIN Football Coaching Player of the Week for his passing in the forward positions. Multiple times Amaveer executed first time through balls during attacks which led to plenty of chances for his team.
