🥊 Union Jab is supporting King’s College London research into neurodiversity in boxing
We are proud to be helping recruit participants for a King’s College London research project exploring the experiences of neurodivergent athletes and the coaches who work with them.
At Union Jab, we believe boxing should be accessible to people whose goals may be confidence, exercise, social connection and personal development—not only competition. Supporting this research is an important opportunity to make sure future coaching and sporting practice are informed by real experiences.
The researchers would like to hear from adults aged 18+ who are:
✅ Neurodivergent athletes, whether formally diagnosed or self-identifying
✅ Sports coaches with experience of coaching neurodivergent athletes
Taking part involves a short online survey followed by one confidential interview, which can be completed online or in person. Participants can take breaks, and all data will be anonymised.
Whether your experience of sport has been positive, difficult or mixed, your perspective matters.

Are you a Neurodivergent athlete or a sports coach?
Union Jab CIC are working with King's College London to improve the experience of neurodivergent athletes and coaches.
This project aims to contribute to improved best practises by identifying ways to make sport more neuro inclusive. Comparing experiences across different sporting contexts and hearing individual perspectives.
You will only be asked to participate in a semi-structured interview to discuss your experience of boxing and sport in general.
