🚨4-WAY LADDER MATCH FOR THE FTW ALPHAPRIME CHAMPIONSHIP🚨
🏆 Lucid Luke (c) vs. Ace Shield vs. Johnny Se # # vs. Adrian Wolfe
Four men. One ring. No rules. The gold is hanging from the ceiling, and the path to the top of FTW is paved with steel.
🧵 THE HISTORY
THE CHAMPION: Lucid Luke has been the absolute workhorse of FTW since capturing the belt at Cuffed Chaos in December 2025. He cleared shop against The Foundation at Lethal Lottery, set the challenge, but he didn't count on the field expanding.
THE FOUNDATION: Ace Shield didn't earn this shot—he policed his way into it. With The Foundation already dominating the Tag Team division, Shield wants to bring the mid-card prize into the family vault.
THE PREDATOR: Adrian Wolfe is no stranger to the champion. After an absolute war at Radgie Rumble, the Wolf is back on the hunt. The rules have been torn up, the pleasantries are over and the claws are out.
THE WILDCARD: Johnny Se # # has dried himself off from his candlelit bath and entered the chat. He thinks the champion is an acrobat, the challenger is a dog, and the leader of the Foundation is a boy with a chip on his shoulder. He’s looking to turn the ladder match into his own personal feature film.

THE "WOLFE COOLER" PROTOCOL: HOW TO SURVIVE THE INDIE GAUNTLET IN 30-DEGREE HEAT 🥵🚨
Over the last few weeks, my feed has been flooded with lads complaining about the sweltering conditions in packed civic halls and social clubs. It’s easy to moan, but nobody’s offering actual locker-room solutions outside of the "Hilarious" joke where everyone stops for a hydration break mid-match cos y'know, the World Cup did it.
I only mention that spot because I've literally seen it at least 10 times on different indie shows in less than 2 weeks.
On Saturday night at the Jubilee Club, it hit easily 30 degrees under the lights. I ran a high-velocity, 10-minute tag match while wearing a thick, furry wolf mask—and walked out without my lungs collapsing.
If you work under a mask or heavy headgear, your core body temperature skyrockets within the first three minutes. Heat exhaustion doesn't just kill your performance—it kills your reaction time, your grip strength, and your safety.
If you want to survive the summer loop without blowing up or throwing up, copy this veteran blueprint:
1. The Long Hair Braid Protocol (The Anti-Wool Shield) 💇♂️
If you have long hair and work under a mask, do not just push it back or leave it loose.
The Routine: Tie it down, braid it tightly, and pin the braid securely to the very top of your head. Right before you go out, douse the pinned braid with ice-cold water.
The Benefit: Loose sweat-soaked hair creates a thick, wet layer of insulation—essentially acting like a heavy wool hat trapped between your skull and your mask. Braiding and pinning it opens up the back of your neck, and the ice-water saturation provides a cooling barrier that stops your head from overheating.
2. The "Wolfe Cooler" Mask Trick 🐺
Don’t just wet your hair before you go out. Take a 2-litre bottle of supermarket spring water, drink two mouthfuls to give it room to expand, and freeze it solid the night before a show.
The Routine: The second you arrive at the venue, lace your wrestling mask or headpiece directly around the frozen bottle.
The Benefit: It acts as a solid mannequin head that keeps your gear perfectly shaped while blasting sub-zero air directly into the inner lining and forehead foam. When you pull that chilled mask over your head for your entrance, it instantly drops your cranial temperature and creates an evaporative cooling system for your face for the first crucial five minutes.
3. Open the Airways (The Philtrum Dab) 👃
Take a leaf out of PAC’s book. Put a small smear of Vicks VapoRub or Olbas Oil right on your philtrum (the notch between your nose and upper lip).
The Benefit: Under a hot mask, the intense menthol vapors trigger your nasal receptors, opening your passages instantly and tricking your brain into feeling a sensation of increased airflow. It maximizes every gasp of oxygen and fights the psychological panic of restricted breathing.
4. The Brainstem Reset 🧠
Backstage before the match, press a flexible gel ice pack or your frozen 2-litre bottle directly against the base of your skull, your wrists (radial artery), and the sides of your neck (carotid artery).
The Benefit: Your blood flows closest to the skin at these pulse points. Cooling the blood passing straight to your brain fools your central nervous system into lowering your overall core temperature perception, steadying your heart rate before you hit the curtain.
5. Stop Chugging Ice Water Post-Match 🛑
When you get back through the curtain and your body is at boiling point, do NOT down a gallon of freezing water.
The Benefit: Shocking your stomach when your core is that high is a one-way ticket to vomiting in the locker room sink. Sip lukewarm or cool water steadily before the show to keep your blood volume high enough to sweat efficiently, and hydrate slowly afterward.
Wrestling is a game of survival. Protect your body, condition your environment, and stop burning your lungs for no reason. Work smart. Protect your partner. Protect yourself.

30-degree heat under the lights at the Jubilee Club, but 24 years in this game means you survive, adapt, and innovate. Massive respect to Riley, and JJ for an absolute gauntlet of a semi-final. The Double Styles Clash felt devastating, the Bronco Buster is officially back in rotation, and it took a textbook ring-apron trap and a double submission to put me away. We didn't get the tournament win, but the Wolf didn't get pinned either.
The hunt doesn't stop here. 🐺⚙️
