Thursday’s Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Betsy 🔥

We had a fun session today trying out different challenges such as crossbar challenge, top bins challenge and others. Betsy was very close on multiple occasions here and showed great technique when striking the ball 👏🏼

She played really well in our match at the end, making so many driving runs through the middle and making it hard for others to tackle her 💪🏼

Brilliant session altogether, good work rate and effort was superb 🙌🏼

What a fun session we had today with the DEV SQUAD ⚽️🙌🏼

It was chaotic, it was loud, and there was lots of laughs and fun had tonight as we played different games focusing on dribbling and movement 🤩

Lovely to have a big turnout, and seeing the girls enjoy football, makes it all worth while 🥳🙌🏼

Dev Squad Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Aubrey tonight 🔥 a fun session all about dribbling and working on movement, and she excelled this evening 👏🏼

She showed great technique and concentration when dribbling the ball, keeping it away from others and moving into spaces well 👌🏼

She defended really well in the match at the end making lots of good tackles and getting really stuck in 💪🏼 great effort!

U12s Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️👏🏼

Well done Taliah tonight 🔥 this was an easy decision and everyone agreed, superb from her this evening!

Working on playing through lines, beating the offside trap and shooting. Taliah in goal was excellent 🤩 save after save after save, diving left, right and centre and stopping so many shots. She was unreal in goal and made so many fantastic saves to keep the girls out 💪🏼

She also commanded her area brilliantly, coming out and grabbing the ball confidently. She was a girl on a mission tonight, absolutely on fire 🔥

Well done to Amelia and Amiyah today 🔥

Amiyah was picked out by the opponents 🤝🏼
She worked tirelessly today, making so many good tackles and interceptions. She was up and down the wing all game and was rewarded for her hard work with a great finish into the far bottom corner ⚽️👏🏼

Amelia was my pick and the parents pick also 👏🏼 she was rock solid in defence today and was dominant all match. She stopped Newark Brazil in there tracks every time and frustrated there attackers by making tackle after tackle 🔥 superb performance from Amelia today 🤝🏼

Newark Brazil vs Newark Town Lil’ Laydies ⚽️🩵

A superb away win from our girls this morning 👏🏼 a brilliant performance from every one of them today and we bounced back from defeat last week brilliantly 💪🏼

Our defence were a brick wall today and limited Newark Brazil to half chances here and there and we managed to keep a brilliant clean sheet 👏🏼
Our midfield worked tirelessly and pressed all game which helped us create many chances 🔥

We could have scored more today but we were a little wasteful in front of goal and there keeper made some fabulous saves, especially in the first half 👏🏼

The three goals we scored today were taken very well and were thoroughly deserved ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Well done to Amiyah 🔥
A session with lots of team bonding exercises with emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Amiyah was constantly talking to her teammates and working really within her team, helping her mates and giving good bits of information 🤝🏼

She played really well in the end match and scored a couple of cracking goals ⚽️ superb effort and attitude as always from Amiyah 👏🏼

Well done Sienna 🔥
Brilliant session tonight with great vibes and great attitude and Sienna was superb from start to finish 🙌🏼

She was constantly on the move in our passing and moving drill. Finding space everywhere on the pitch and passing quickly. She was scanning her shoulders and looking for pockets of space all the time. Her link up play was brilliant.

Sienna played some really good stuff tonight 🤩

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH vs Holy Spirit Celtic ⚽️👏🏼

Opponents POTM: Libbyella 🔥 - solid all game, used her body well and made some great runs from deep. Made it difficult for the opponents to get the ball off her and was unlucky not to score today 🙏🏼

Managers POTM: Taliah 🔥 - great game all round in between the sticks. Made some brilliant stops and came off her line and commanded her area really well when she needed too. Couldn’t do a lot about the goals that went as they were taken well but was solid in goal and opponents spoke very highly of her 👏🏼

Parents POTM: Betsy 🔥 - thoroughly deserved also. Covered every blade of grass on the pitch, made tackles everywhere and really got stuck in. Her work rate and effort was superb. Her tenacity to keep going was unreal to watch 👌🏼
