Well done to every single player and parent today. The boys gave absolutely everything once again, and as coaches, we genuinely cannot fault the effort, the heart, the courage and the desire shown from start to finish.
We were really pleased with our attacking game today. It’s starting to take shape, and you can see the hard work from training beginning to come together on the pitch. 💪
They managed to put three quick tries on us through their pace out wide, but if I’m honest, as a coach I’d much rather see us beaten on the outside than teams running straight through the middle of us — and that’s not happening anymore! 👊
From 1️⃣ to 2️⃣0️⃣, every single boy put his body on the line for the player beside him and did that New Tredegar jersey proud. That togetherness and fight is exactly what we want to see. ❤️💚

A special mention has to go to Junior on the wing today. What a performance! 👏
Today proved that it doesn’t matter how big you are physically — if you have the heart, passion and determination, you can make a massive difference.
Junior tackled his heart out all game and nobody got past him. He made crucial tackles on numerous occasions and kept his team in the game when it mattered.
Absolutely outstanding performance, Butty. You should be very proud of yourself! 💪🔥
Now we go again Wednesday with a big session as we prepare for next week’s game.
