At just 16 years old, Elise made a little bit of history today. 💙⚽

The full challenge is 42 miles, and Elise completed an incredible 25 miles of it — making her the youngest person ever to take part in the walk.

She’s trained with our PAN team for the past year, growing in confidence and developing as a player, and this season she’ll be taking another huge step by entering the competitive Ability Counts League for the very first time.

Today showed exactly the same determination we’ve seen in her on the pitch.

25 miles. At 16 years old. In relentless rain.

That is a huge achievement.

We are so incredibly proud of you, Elise. 💙

13 miles in for the whole Nantwich Town Disability Football family ❤️⚽

Every mile today is for our players, our families, our coaches and everyone who makes this club what it is.

NTDF is about so much more than football — it’s belonging, confidence, friendship and giving people a place where they can just be themselves.

13 miles down. Still going. Still doing it for them. 💪❤️⚽

Tomorrow is more than a walk.

Tomorrow, Craig Twitch Actonand the team will set off from Nantwich and attempt 42 miles in one day for Nantwich Town Disability Football.

And for us, this one means everything. 💚💛

This club has become so much more than football. It is confidence. Friendship. Belonging. It is giving people a place where they are accepted exactly as they are. It is seeing players achieve things they never thought they could, families finding a community, and people being given opportunities that simply would not exist without inclusive sport.

That is what every one of those 42 miles represents.

There will be tired legs, aching feet and moments where carrying on feels incredibly hard. But behind every step will be the players, families and community that make Nantwich Town Disability Football what it is.

We are so proud of Craig and everyone taking this on.

And we are so grateful to every single person who has donated, shared the fundraiser, offered support or sent a message of encouragement. You are part of this too.

Tomorrow, when it gets difficult, we hope they remember exactly why they started.

42 miles. One cause. One community.

For every player who deserves the chance to play.
For every family who has found somewhere they belong.
For every barrier we still need to break down.

Every mile funds opportunity. Every step backs inclusion.

Now let’s get them to that finish line. 💚🥾⚽

Another great day of football today as we welcomed the England Amputee Football Association back onto the pitch. ⚽🏴

We’ve been fortunate to play these guys before, and it’s always a fixture we enjoy.

Different teams, different formats of disability football, but ultimately the same thing brings everyone onto that pitch — a love of football and the opportunity to play.

This November, the England Amputee Team are heading to Mexico to represent their country at the Amputee Football World Cup.

But getting there comes at a significant cost, and the players are currently fundraising to make sure they can take their place on the world stage.

As part of the wider disability football community, we’d love to see them get there.

If you’re able to donate, please consider supporting their campaign. And if you can’t donate, sharing it will help too.

⚽ From one disability football family to another — good luck, England. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Football For Everyone. One Team. One Town.

24/04/2026

As the sun sets over the goal line, we’d like to take a second to thank each and every one of our players.

For showing up.
For supporting one another.
For creating a space where everyone belongs.

Inclusive sport isn’t just about being on the pitch, it’s about the culture we build together, every single session.

And that only works because of you.

We see it. We appreciate it.

NTDF 💛
